Fuga magica (A magical escape, art installation)
The grand themes of existence take visible form and unfold in sequence along a path of growing awareness.
Featuring a performance by Mauro Covacich, the art installation breathes life into the evocative spaces of the Shoah Memorial on the occasion of the International Museum Day, pondering the meaning of life.
The Testimony Rooms display on a digital surface the relationship between opposite states of existence: abandonment/care; deportation/return; deceit/revelation; loss/rediscovery; segregation/freedom; violence/connection.
Thought ignites as one advances along the path, eventually becoming the light of a magical escape: on a stage framed by survival thermal blankets, Mauro Covacich performs fairy tales to speak of instinct, escape, and the present.
