Fuga magica (A magical escape, art installation)

The great themes of existence take on visible form and unfold in sequence along a path of growing awareness.

With a performance by Mauro Covacich, the art installation brings the evocative spaces of the Memoriale della Shoah to life for International Museum Day and reflects on the meaning of life.

The Rooms of Testimony display, on a digital surface, the relationship between opposing states of existence: abandonment/care; deportation/return; deception/disclosure; loss/rediscovery; segregation/freedom; violence/connection.

Thought is kindled as one moves along the path, until it becomes the light of a magical escape: on a stage framed by the thermal survival blankets, Mauro Covacich performs fables to tell of instinct, of flight, of the present.
