The evening's fundraising, one gesture away

Live donations at the gala dinner, thanks to AGoodGiver's Smart POS and QR codes.

On 1 July 2026, in the historic cellar of Villa Franciacorta, «Sotto le stelle della Franciacorta» took the stage — an evening of Chefs for Life, the initiative that puts fine cuisine at the service of solidarity. Around a 64-metre table, twenty chefs and two hundred guests brought to life a sold-out evening in support of Fondazione Carolina Zani Melanoma ETS. AGoodGiver is the instant fundraising platform from Blu Oberon and Atlantis Company, chosen by Chefs For Life for all its gala events in 2026 and 2027.

Giving during the eveningEach guest received a small card with a QR code to scan with their smartphone, opening the donation page dedicated to the Foundation and allowing them to contribute in seconds using a wallet (with no need to enter card details by hand). In addition, five Smart POS programmed specifically for the evening made it possible to donate with smartphone wallets as well as with traditional payment cards. And all the donation data — gathered one way or the other — flowed in real time onto the big screens in the room, showing the fundraising progress live, gesture after gesture.

Watching the figure climb turned generosity into something shared. Altogether, the event raised over 36,000 Euros, entirely dedicated to melanoma research, to strengthen the paths of prevention and early diagnosis.

A technology born for everyday spaces — shops, local campaigns, events — thus finds a home at a gala evening too. «Sotto le stelle della Franciacorta» showed how much it matters, at a moment like this, to be able to give with the ease of a single gesture: simple for those who contribute, transparent for those who collect, able to turn one evening's enthusiasm into a concrete result.
