We oversaw the production of a travelling event, designed to show citizens the strategic policies and the initiatives undertaken by Regione Lombardia (Directorate-General for Commerce, Tourism and Services and Directorate-General for Infrastructure and Mobility).
The Blu Oberon team developed the event concept, designed the mobile tensile structure and the visitor routes, produced every element of the set-up, both structural and multimedia, including the large 3D-prototyped scale model of the region, curated the writing of the content and its organisation within the multimedia communication products developed entirely in-house, and composed the emotional storytelling offered to the public.
The 3D-prototyped scale model uses an innovative technology that video-projects images and footage to bring its static surface to life. This produces a series of films able to describe, with spectacle and emotion, a territory, an urban-planning project, a city, a historic quarter or one that exists only in the imagination. Through diagrams, lighting, information or a photorealistic digital texture. The projection is perspectively warped by the three-dimensional surface of the model, creating photorealistic textures or geometric highlights directly on the surfaces of the volumes.
