The Little Prince Museum
A permanent exhibition for living in harmony with ourselves and with the planet
In the stunning setting of the Parco Naturale Regionale di Porto Conte, Blu Oberon developed the concept, the exhibition design, the content, the videos and the technological systems for a permanent exhibition that tells the story of the park’s magnificent ecosystems through the eyes of the Little Prince.
Just as the Little Prince, on his journey among the planets, discovers everything that dwells upon them and feels part of the emotions, the sensations and the lives of others, so too, through knowledge, humankind comes to reveal its innate empathy towards the greater whole that surrounds it.
The purpose of a visit to the Museum is to identify with Nature, celebrated in all its facets, and at the same time to understand oneself and the meaning of one’s own existence, through awareness of and respect for the world around us.
The exhibition is divided into a “bright section”, which, through the use of technological tools and purpose-built content, makes environmental education engaging and captivating: touch screens, personalised books and binaural audio speakers.
The “dark section”, by contrast, is a place of meditation and, at the same time, of emotion: 3D-prototyped scale models with calibrated projections, a large sphere and immersive audio accompany a narrative that invites visitors to explore the world around us.
And finally: LUMINA. It is in this collective art installation that the essential becomes visible to the eye: the light of the intellect, guided by the emotions, generates an energy capable of protecting our world and preserving it for the millennia to come.
