The Blu Oberon team designed the multimedia installations for the Regione Lombardia pavilion at the Meeting di Rimini. The pavilion housed the 3D prototype scale model of the region, conceived and built to tell the story of the major regional infrastructure planned through to 2030. The model was also fitted with a vertical digital sky, making the storytelling experience even more immersive.

The 3D-prototyped model is a forward-looking tool for creating emotive storytelling and offering, at a single glance, a compelling overview of the projects on show. It was devised for institutions, museums, utility companies, real estate operators and, further still, chambers of commerce and municipal enterprises. Infrastructure large and small, archaeological sites, urban settlements, cities, vast territories, entire countries: the fields of application for this innovative patented technology of multi-projection onto a physical model through three-dimensional video mapping are truly numerous.

Built using 3D prototyping techniques from a virtual model, the Metavisual Model of a territory or a settlement can intersect the dimension of time and recount the past, present or future of places, communities and peoples.
